Welcome to our June Demo Day! This month, we showcased impactful updates that enhance usability, improve consistency, and expand functionality across Rover ERP. Whether you’re streamlining your point-of-sale processes or exploring new AI support tools, these enhancements are designed to help you work smarter and faster. Here’s everything you need to know:
UI & Lookup Enhancements
We’ve reorganized the settings screens for Point of Sale to make configuration simpler and clearer. Previously, options were buried in one overwhelming tab — now, related settings are categorized into cleaner, more organized sections for easier management.

Consistent Lookup Displays: Search results in Point of Sale and the “recently viewed” lists now use the same lookup structure, keeping data presentation uniform.

ID Support for Lookups: Lookups can now accept and filter based on customer IDs, improving data accuracy and avoiding cross-client mix-ups when switching between multiple customer sites.

Performance Improvements: For large datasets (like transaction histories), lookups now support pagination to boost speed and reduce front-end load times.
Cash Deposit Enhancements
A long-requested feature has landed: cash deposits within Point of Sale.

Cash deposits can now be applied against open sales orders, ideal for scenarios like upfront payments on custom or non-stock items.

Managed through a new MRK control flag (POS Allow Cash Deposit) so you can enable it on your own schedule.

These deposits are recorded as on-account payments, which then apply automatically when the sales order is invoiced, streamlining the accounting workflow.
Part Options & Cart Updates

Default Collapse for Option Groups: Related part groups on quotes can now default to collapsed, reducing visual clutter.

Drag-and-Drop Reordering: You can now reorder related part groups directly within the part detail display using a simple drag-and-drop action.

Cart Quantity Updates: From within the part details, you can now edit quantities of items already in the cart, giving you more flexibility during quote-building.
Embedded AI Support Assistant
We also shared progress on integrating our new Support Assistant into the web experience. This AI-powered feature leverages your existing Rover documentation to answer questions faster, directly inside the Rover interface.
