Does the Customer Portal require separate user accounts from our main ERP system?
No. The portal uses the same customer and contact records already set up in Rover ERP. When you enable portal access for a contact, they can log in immediately using the contact structure you’ve already configured. There’s no duplicate user database to maintain.
What reports can customers access through the portal?
You have complete control over which reports each customer can run. Common reports include open invoices, order status, shipment tracking, payment history, and account statements. Reports can be exported to Excel or PDF with a single click. You decide exactly what each customer sees based on your business relationship with them.
How long does it take to implement the Customer Portal?
Most portal implementations are completed within the first 30 days of your broader Rover ERP rollout. Our team configures the initial report menu, sets up your first customer contacts, and trains your staff on access management. After that, you can enable new contacts and adjust report permissions in minutes.
If a contact works with multiple customers, how does the portal handle that?
